How did it all start?

It started with the war; with atrocities and loss, was sustained by individual pride and brought into the open by sheer necessity. Anna, having left her own turbulent past behind, is intent on building a new life for herself and her young son in the French countryside. A life that can only come about when the dreadful damage suffered by her family is properly recompensed.

Of course that puts Anna in Paris and at the centre of events. It is always tricky deciding how and through whom wrongs should be put right, as she soon finds out. Once again on a free rein she uses all her charms and wiles to get to where she needs to be no matter what her horoscope tells her.
